Archy Terms of Use
Effective from 2 November 2026.
1. What Archy is
Archy is a personal archive of proof of purchase: photos of items, receipts, bank statements, warranties and service history. It is not a legal or insurance service: we don’t guarantee that a shop, insurer or court will accept a PDF record it produces.
2. Your data, your control
Your data is stored only on your device and we hold no copy. If you lose your phone without an .archy backup, or forget both the backup password and the recovery key, the data cannot be recovered. We recommend making backups regularly.
3. Duress PIN
The duress PIN permanently destroys the archive on the device. It can only be restored from an .archy backup.
4. Free and Premium
- Free has limits (number of items, receipt scans and PDF exports).
- Premium is a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-off “lifetime” purchase. Payment, auto-renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their own rules; you can cancel in your store account settings.
- “Lifetime” means Premium access for your store account for as long as Archy is distributed.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use Archy for anything unlawful or try to break or bypass its security.
6. Warranties and liability
Archy is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, indirect losses or decisions made on the basis of data in Archy. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. App Store
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you keep the mandatory rights of your country.
9. Changes and contact
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions: [email protected].
